I had to post here. I met Nicole Marino when we worked together around 2004. It was a vulnerable time in my life. I had just lost my mother, moved back to NY, and the company we worked for was sinking... Nicole and I bonded immediately, and precisely, because things around us were so bad. When I walked in in the morning, Nicole would say "Living the dream, Trina. Living the dream!" She made me laugh relentlessly and we acknowledged that we were active participants in our own lives, and we could both do better, and things would be better. Nicole and I never shot the sh*t. Back then, and even in later years when we caught up on FB… From the start, everything we talked about was of substance. Are you in love? Are you happy? Are you Living the dream?I am pretty sure Nicole coined the term "Living the dream!" I can't hear the phrase or repeat it myself without thinking of her. And I told her that. I am so so sad to learn of her passing. I can't imagine the countless lives she impacted on a daily basis. She was such a bright light, a beautiful gem and a friend. I'm sure the gates of heaven opened wide for Nicole. Forever in my heart and prayers
